Jorgie n' Me have returned...

From our whirlwind trip to Utah, that is.
The main reason for the trip was to attend Erik's niece, Michelle's wedding...which we did.
The wedding was held at an amazing spot- a lodge up at the tippy-top of a mountain in the Park City/Deer Valley area. The aspen trees were really pretty- we took some pictures, which I'll try to post, but I don't think the pictures will do justice.
A few of the other activities we packed in were trips here and here
we also hit our favorite greek restaurants- Yanni's and The Greek Market....both were excellent, as usual.
I also climbed a mountain....again. Not Timpanoga's this time. We drove up to Erik's Dad's land, which is located between Park City and Kamas, Utah. He has arond 200 acres, including to mountainish hilltops. The land itself is at 7000 feet, and I climbed up one of the peaks to just shy of the top. I definitely got alot father up than I planned to, but climbing in New Balance running shoes isn't all that recommended, and I was a little worried about the trip down, which was definitely harder than climbing up, since it involved hanging off sagebrush trees and stretching my legs down until I found a good foothold. That was only the topmost second I climbed...toward the bottom it wasn't so steep. Erik's sister Carla and her 11 year old son, Ian made it all the way to the top. Maybe next trip I'll do the same, unless Pop-Jorgie gets the land sold between now that then.
