unusual thing happened today....

This has never happened before...
From 10-11 on a Saturday morning, I didn't see another soul on the Katy trail.
Buster and I walked from the parking lot on Scott Blvd back towards Twin Lakes. The trail was pretty difficult to walk on, since the snow didn't really start to melt in earnest until today. There was a little icy footpath down the middle of the trail, that pretty much sucked to walk on, plus an old trail made from someone's xcountry skis. We only made it about 2 miles, and that took a little over an hour to accomplish. Both Buster and I were worn out when we got home. Oh Well...it was in the 40's all day and is supposed to stay above freezing tonight, so we should see some good melting action through the rest of the weekend. I guess we will try and hit Grindstone tomorrow. All the Rockbridge trails are closed this weekend because they are allowing deer hunting in the park this weekend.
