The dryer has been DOA for the past week…this is a very sucky thing.

The repair dude gave us nothing but bad news….Repair is going to cost $200, $300, maybe $400 bucks…He doesn’t have the right parts to fix the problem and will probably come back out next week and try to fix it again…like I said…very sucky. I’ll be heading to the laundromat this weekend to dry a few loads of stuff that can’t be hung up to dry, like towels, etc. Sigh….sucky, sucky, sucky.

So, what in the H. E. double-hockey sticks is up with the weather? Its going to be down below 20 degrees tonite…its almost there now. Since it was 80 degrees last week, the plants are going to be really screwed up. I covered flower beds and various plants with turned over teracotta pots and bed sheets. I’m not sure how much it will help, but I don’t want to lose all my perennials either.

Erik and Jess and I are on a Numbers marathon…gotta luv the DVR.

Dog News- People usually ask me how the guys are doing, so heres an update.

Buster is a tick magnet- thank goodness for Frontline. Petey is a goof. For some reason it drives him insane if someone sneezes. Sometimes we do pretend sneezes just to get him worked up…what exciting fun-filled lives we lead!
