My feet are happy at last

My plantar fasciitis flared back up in the big way a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't paying heed to wearing the right footwear for the right situation and was wearing my 'off the beaten path' hiking boots while walking on the concrete paths at Stephens Lake Park. A few weeks ago I got my first warning pains, but I kept walking in the boots and I ended up jacking up my right foot pretty badly. After limping about for a few days I bought some Reebok walking shoes at Kohls as an emergency measure...they're ok after being enhanced with heel pads, etc. (Yes, I am gellin' like Magellen)
I saw these in my favorite mail order catalog and decided to give them a try. They arrived today and its like a freaking miracle..I put them on and the pulling agony across the bottom of my foot went away immediately. I'm not entirely sold yet, I'll need to field test at the park, but so far so good. My only complaint is that these shoes run a little small...and narrow, they fit me ok, but there is no way Jorgie, with his feet the size and shape of shoe boxes could wear them, and he is needed some good walk-about shoes as well. If all goes well I'll be placing another order and probably only wearing these shoes for awhile. It took me a year to clear up my PF the last time I had it, and I was doing so well- not having any problems for a couple of years now.
