It was a cold and yukky day... or at least it was when I arrived at work 6 hours ago. I guess I should go check to see what things look like now.
I spend so much time in the building that I’m starting to feel like a C.H.U.D. although I haven’t had any cravings for human flesh….yet.
Jorgie and I had a pretty good weekend. Saturday (with Jess) we went down to Eagle Bluffs. Hadn’t been there before, so we ended up driving around most of the 4000 + acres before we found a map, and the road to the trail. The trail was unimproved, but followed the river and it was a really pretty day.
Sunday was yukky, so we went out for bagels, then went somewhere we haven’t been in ages…the Mall….well, Target was all we hit, as far as the mall. We also went cross town and hit Sams and Lowes. It looks like we found the garage doors we are going to get. We almost ordered them, then decided to hold off until we did another measurement ..you know, measure twice, so you don’t pay for $800.00 worth of doors that don’t fit. Yeah, that seems like a good idea.
I’m back on my exercise regimen after a week off due to the respiratory crud I had. I’m back up to my 45ish minutes on the Gazelle, so I’m happy.
Last night I couldn’t sleep so I finished watching Almost Famous, which I had DVR’ed the day before. In some respects it is a really good movie, especially the part at the beginning with the interaction between the sister and mother. In fact, Cameron Crowe might want to take a crack at just telling the background family story. As far as the main plot, If you didn’t grow up in the 70's the movie may not translate well.
