Thanksgiving holiday

The holiday was pretty good. We did our usual- laid low and relaxed as much as possible.
As part of my walking regime, Buster and I did the High Ridge Trail each day Thurs-Sunday.
I am maxed out on vacation time so added Monday and Tuesday to my time off, and Monday we hit the Grasslands trail. I decided we needed to try a new trail, and my knees were griping about all the hills on High Ridge. Grasslands is ok- but one section goes fairly close to a road and it was kind of noisy. At one point I thought we were lost, but I think we just took a wrong turn that extended our walk...not a big deal since I had no other plans for the day than to walk the dog and maybe do a bit of housework. Eventually we made it back to the car. Tomorrow I have a dentist appointment in the morning, so Buster will have to settle for a local hike around the property, but since I have the day off, after I finish at the dentist and run some errands, we will probably do an afternoon walk somewhere on the Rockbridge trail system....its just too darn convenient to our house.
