A lot of walking was done this weekend.

Saturday we walked in a surprise snow storm out on the High Ridge trail. It was coming down pretty good…Buster and Petey kept shaking the snow off, and at one point I reached up and touched my hair and realized that I had an inch of snow on top of my head. By the time we finished we were all wet, Petey was shivering and it was nice to get home.
Sunday I met Ann Marie and Kim (plus her dog Charlie) at the Forum entrance to the MKT. We walked quite a ways…down throught he wetlands and around twin lakes then back. It think it was a bit much for the little pups. Petey pooped out about 5 minutes out from the car on the return trip and Ann Marie, who had been walking him, carried him the rest of the way. Buster woke up Monday morning stiff on his right hind leg…I think that the gravelly trail was hard on his feet and legs. He is back to normal today, tearing around the yard like a nut. I think we will stick to the dirt and grass paths and avoid the gravel trails.
